Our largest ministry is the boarding home in HuaDoi, 12 km east of Chiang Rai, where close to 50 children, originating from villages in northern Thailand, live. 

The children are between the ages of 6 and 19 years old and go to the state preschools, primary schools and secondary schools in Chiang Rai.

If it weren't for the home in HuaDoi, many of these children wouldn't get an education as their home villages are too far away from local schools. Several of the children have lost their parents or have parents in long-term imprisonment due to drug dealing, and therefore have nowhere to go.

For many of the children who have been in danger of prostitution, HuaDoi has become a place of refuge. Here they can grow up in safety without risk of being sold to traffickers or ending up in brothels in one of the country's bigger cities.

The boarding home works as a family with the managers as parents. Everyone helps out with cleaning, cooking, gardening and other chores. The home maintains its own farming with rice paddies, vegetables, fruit trees, pigs and fish breeding.
